Sinister: can it be? twee's in the dictionary!

well hello again. long time no write.
so tonight a friend asked me what "twee" meant. i tried to explain, and
tried to tell her where it came from, but having no true definition or any
of that, i sucked it up and looked at the merriam-websters dictionary that
resides on my NeXT computer (which sits in our living room). sure enough,
there it was. said something about it being excessively cute or something
like that. said it was used primarily by the british and is baby-talk for
"sweet." sounds good to me.
then, sitting on my ass in front of the computer, dry, dirty vodka martini
in hand (the second of the night) i check my mail to find an email from the
loverly andreea who is throwing a belle and sebbie party this weekend. i
had written to ask when, where, and what time it was happening. and whether
or not i should bring booze. lots and lots of booze.
she offhandedly remarks that it's on saturday, at 9pm, and that a boy from
Amherst college named christian will be there with some friends. he had
asked if she knew me. i'm assuming he's on this list, so, hello christian,
i'll see you on saturday.
i've been wondering for, oh, the past two years why you haven't called. are
you too cool for me now? well, here's to a good saturday night. i can
guarantee i'll be looking quite fabulous (as i usually do, not to toot my
own horn. thank my grandmother and her breasts for that. speaking of, honey
-- you'll be getting a shot of my lurvely rack for the sinister body part
page just as soon as i can scan it).
but, since i'm guessing he's on this list, i'll spare you the retelling of
my reaction when i read that so casually he'd be making an appearance at
this party. mymymy.
glad to see the wu-ness has subsided, it was getting my goat a bit. but
i'll refrain from making any more comments about it.
as you've probably noted, i'm a bit hammered right now. vodka goes to me
head pretty fast.
and hello teri darling, got your postcard. i'm thinking about joining you
at the pill one of these friday nights, but am afeard that jon will be
there, as he's told me that he and ariel go. we're not exactly on the best
of terms right now, as i've been kissing boys frequently, and he hasn't.
so, since this is my first post in many a moon, i guess you deserve more
than just drunken ramblings about  boys named christian and the definition
of twee. but, alas, i have nothing more to say.
except that i got my grant for my thesis, and $500 more than i had planned.
which i don't know what i'll do with.
and now my mouth has gone numb from all the alcohol and cigarettes. ick. i
suppose my hands are next. oh, wait, yes they are. my, that's an odd
feeling . . .
