Props up ya' all. Did you hear the latest about the band Europe and their
"The Final Countdown 2000"- single? This is a true story: They printed 60000
copies for the swedish market of the new version of that hairy song. Too bad
they printed it wrong: It became "The Final CUNTdown." Tells you something,
doesn't it? Now they have to do it all over again. HA!
Brad, you and your asses and knees and elbows... The nation still laughs.
Let me know when you post those photos, so I know when to close my eyes.
Like the boobies in the photosection, as you might have quessed, though.
Erm... Honey, I don't have to send pics of those bodyparts, do I? I just
repeated what Braddyboy said. Spank my ass and call me Charlie. SLAP! Ooh, a
bit harder. SLAPPETY SLAP. Ok, you can put that down now.
Ooh, winter is here. Almost. What definetely will be here is THE meeting
tomorrow. Tony Blair will be there. And the guy from France who has
something to do with politics. All the other big shots from around Europe
will be here right next to the building I work in, some big EU- meeting
going on right beside our officebuilding. I have to carry my ID's so I can
get to work tomorrow: they have policemen (and policewomen too, I'm sure) on
the exits so they can keep track of us. Orwells' "1984", anyone?
What else? There's this Swedish band Kent who held their recordlaunch-party
(how the hell you spell that word?) here in Finland. After interviewing
their guitarist and bassist I got an invitation to that party. FREE BEER!
FREE CHICKENSALAD!! (and some lame salad with beans and god-knows-what for
all you carrotpeople). Now tell me, what the hell is the point of those
parties? They invite people from magazines (krhm, that would be me), TV and
radio to eat and drink for free. I went in, ate, drank, the guys from the
band came in to the club, they pressed play on the stereo and then we all
listened to the album. And then we fucked off. Are they trying to kiss our
asses so we would like them? Well it worked. 10 out of 10, Kent's new album
Hagnesta Hill. Now thank you very much, when is the next party?
On to some more serious stuff now. As some of you might know (one person
knows), I'm going to Brighton for the new year (no, two people from the list
know I'm going there, sorry). And that bloody Tigermilking party is on the
7th of January. Which is not that nice, since I'll be heading back to
Finland on the 5th. So, I'd like to ask now, any good B&S- parties going to
happen on the new year's eve? London or Brighton, thank you. E-mail please,
if you have some ideas, 'cause I've never been to London/Brighton and I
don't have any idea what those cities are like. I've heard that London is
fairly big, but that's all. So again, PLEASE e-mail me if you've got some
plans. Me and my friend Maria will be there, I promise. Well, I'm going to
ask this same thing on the meetup- section on the Bleebster pages, so....
Now I'm off. Thank you for your co-operation.
@---->--- A rose, love and other stuff that makes you feel funny in your
tummy, Jake
ps: Did you know that I look like Tim Burgess? Neither did I, but apperently
I do.
