Sinister: La la la la la la la's

Hello everybody,

Hope all your Christmas were fluffy, white and snowy. A bit like a friendly
Polar Bear called Godfrey. I have the pleasure of being back at work.
Actually it's not that bad as yesterday I fell asleep under my desk for a
few hours, yes George Castanza is my hero, and today I have a can of
Foster's in front of me as I type, obviously I wouldn't drink the shit
normally but as it's in work time and it's free what the hell.

I played the La's album yesterday which I hadn't done for donkey's and it
was quite a pleasurable experience. I find it very funny that Lee Majors,
who went on to star in the excellent Six Million Dollar Man, and John Power
from the La's said it was crap at the time. Especially when the latter went
on to perfect crapness with his current 3 piece beat combo Cast.

For Christmas, like any streetwise kid, I got the Cast box set and also a
token redeemable for mobbyfone thingys. I can't wait to get the latter as I
want to ring everyone up on trains and say "I'm on the train" very loudly.
As apparently that's the thing to do. Plus the one I want acts as a
vibrator alert which is always handy as it can prevent many unforeseen
accidents, it sends S&M messages, and has WAP, games and apparently you can
even ring people and they can ring you. Wow! What fun... Actually if I can
ever be arsed to walk into a mobbyfone shop and get one, it will have one
health benefit as I'll doubt I'll be able to fit a pack of 20 cigarettes
and a mobbyfone in my trouser pocket. A dilemma to ponder for the next
century if ever there was one.

Anyhow, I'm off to nick a tinny off someone. Come on, if you can't steal
drink in the festive season when can you?*
