Sinister: Holiday Snaps

Morning pips,

Some crazed Australian nutter's been saying I vowed never
to return??? Bloody cheek, I've only been on my holidays. I
went to Scarborough and it was very nice. Just like the film
"Little Voice" that was filmed there.

Anyway, I've nowt to say really. Just thought I'd gloat a bit
cos I'm off up to Glasgow on Wednesday to see Evie. I'm
not sure I know who Evie Sands is really but the word on the
street seems to be saying it's hip to be into her groove and
that's good enough for me.

I hope some people are going to the indiepop all-dayer at
Sheffield's Boardwalk on Saturday 20th Feb. "Pop A-Go-Go"
it's called, and I'm getting a new striped t-shirt and anorak
for the occasion. Will "Young & Foolish" be available from the
fanzine stall? Can we meet up and swap lollipops?

Oh, and I've got to clear big gay Julian's name. I saw the
big fellow at the weekend and he denies sending anything to
this list last Friday, muttering something about how he'd have
been much more abusive and had a thing or two to say about
some other fucking people too!!! Julian scares me.

I got a parcel in the post from Japan today. It contained the
the soft rock compilation "It's a soft rock world", a Four King
Cousins' album and the latest Pizzicato 5 single.

That's just me gloating again. If you're not jealous, then you
bloody well should be.

I thought Sensitive Stan was very, very funny. Which reminds
me. Neelie Wheelie will be in some band at that thing in Sheffield.
Tag's never met Neelie Wheelie. I'm looking forward to his reaction.

And why do people assume Sensitive Stan isn't real? I've met many
young men of that persuasion in my time. Usually they were in
front of me in the queue at record shops. Often they'd be buying
7" singles on that label known as "Sarah" <eek!>.

I agree with Cynthia's boyfriend that "everyone has one primary
emotion that underlies everything one does". Mine is happiness.

That's just me gloating again.

Anyway, I went to a "pop quiz" in our local pub with a lady friend
last night. We got trounced. What a loser. I feel small. I'm not
fucking gloating now, eh?

PS I'd just like to announce to the list that I lost my virginity last
night. Actually, it wasn't last night. It was about a year ago. Just
after a Cardigans' show. I hope you all think it's big and clever
of me to share these things with you.

PPS If anybody is interested in my pet name for Mick McMick,
send me a private mail and I'll be happy to share it with you.

PPPS Joss, mails to you keep getting returned saying "user-ID
unknown" or something like that. Are we in a "Return To Sender"
type scenario here or is this a real technical hitch?
