Hello listees!

I thought I'd write a pensive tell all diary letter and please some of you.
Then i thought of those who would be displeased by that and felt guilt
twinges. I shortly got over that though. so.

I shall be travelling overseas tuesday! to England! I've never been. I was
going to go to a friend's wedding but the groom broke it off at the last
minute and my ticket is non-refundable. so I am still going. Now I've got
nothing to do in London, plus no-one to do it with. My friend Ben (the bride's
brother) is not going; so I'll be pretty much on my own as far as
companionship goes. Sad, eh? I thought so too. Any of you listees have ideas?
No-one here is helpful; they all advise me to take advantage of the fact that
I can legally drink in England. Which is all well and good. But I didn't buy a
plane ticket solely to go to London and get pissed by meself. Come on now,
that's pitiful. What are some good things to see? Will I be rejected by people
as looking odd? Where's some nice used record/cd shops to find presents for
myself? If I were to start a conversation with a person who looks interesting,
will they cover their mouth, pointing and laughing at the stupid American
making a fool of himself?

		I thought I'd throw this in to make it relevant..
are there any shows in the timeframe Feb 9th-Feb14th? b&s would be lovely, but
anything nice will do. It seems like there should be something of interest
happening if only I could find out about it. I would kick myself for weeks if
I missed a band playing only because I didn't bother to ask if they were
playing...
	I wouldn't presume to ask anyone to meet me, only because I have no idea
where I am staying, and i don't know anyone on the list well enough to ask
them to put me up. But if any listees in the London area would like to meet
me, well then, I'd do my best to find you!
       In case you don't already know, I'm 19, a guy, black hair, and
apparantly twee, if that helps any. I'm also terribly scared about this
overseas travel thing. Never done it before. 

             ah, this is horrible. I've gone on soo long. i do apologise for
those of you gritting your teeth. you should probably have stopped reading
long ago
