Sinister: quick on the mark

Oh you're all very quick-witted, I have to say. Well done you, pats to the
back all round, on me.

But unfortunately my threat/promise/gift thing was rendered futile by your
excellence because I intended to use my intense and deep-rooted knowledge 
of belle and sebastian's little quirkisms to aid my future prospects. 
The tantalising treat of being told what the ref was was supposed to make
you dash off, finding out how for instance, I could get work in the
edinburgh arts fest or something. But no , you are all such clever clogs
that that approach failed.
Some of you may have noticed my bizarre syntaxical method of
communicating. Having done a snooze inducing essay on the differences
between sex and gender (and boy are there differences) I had to view this
gender configuration from a modern Irish poet point of view. These poets
are so difficult and having absorbed myself in their endless whinges about
sex and gender etc, various syntaxical differences were observed, thus my
own syntax is currently under scrutiny.

Oh shut up me, all I wanted to say was is'nt it odd the way I said was was
and then that that and it wasn't a typo.

oh there's nothing I can think of... no wait there is.

You know "the boy done wrong again." Of course you do , what am I saying 
, well there's some line , I never read the lyrics unless I'm trying to
avoid someone's glare , but there is some line that says something like
"cry your life away" well I think it would be better if it was "cry your
laughy way."

and also in "Dream of horses." there's some line that I always think is
gonna rhyme with eleven and be seven  , ie she's been with boys since she
was seven (this is from memory in the very distant , you could say archaic
past) but it's "since she was young." The only reason I'm mentioning it is
because the same thing happens me with a Leonard Cohen song only I can't
remember what song...I'm waffling am'nt I ?
