they also had some very obvious errors in there (male burse anyone?)
so...). i do (did?) have a recording of most of the rest of it and can
tell you that 'The Boy With The Arab Strap' was at number 3 (behind
mogwai and the delgadoes). i'll post the rest of it when either myself
or the radio 1 web page guy has transcribed it...

um, strange christmas. it was bookended by trips to heathrow, the
latter being more successful than the former (when the girlfriend i
was surprising arrived 40 minutes earlier than expected and had
already left for guildford with some burly police officer). spent most
of the rest of it (seemingly) on trains to manchester (staying with
two of the nicest people alive, one of whom ended up with my secret
santa present that i took to the Sinister Social the night before.
what are the chances?), birmingham, ashchurch (for tewkesbury), hemel,
brighton and london and in a graveyard lopping the heads off various
members of the undead...

back to work today to find they've put the price of coffee up by 50%
in the machines and that part of beth's christmas present had finally
arrived hours after seeing her onto her plane. looks like she won't
get to find out who eventually volunteers to help madame cholet pick
blackberries until next christmas...
