Sinister: oh so sheik/complaints

i agree completely (i mentioned him in a negative voice)
i can't stand processed vocals especially when he acts like he has the
most amazing range of any boy since Nicky Drake
he is a pretentious little boy as well, he was on sessions at west 54th
street a few weeks ago (closest thing to Peel we dumb americans have) so
David Byrne (the host) was interviewing him and it was one of the most
annoying things ive seen in awhile
his live set wasnt too bad only because he couldnt do too much to offend
me besides slightly cheesy piano playing and stupid facial expression to
show how deep he was digging into himself for those heart wrenching
cliches i mean lyrics
yah thats enough about him, hopefully hell disappear eventually

as for people complaining about the list, all i have to say is why must
this bull doodie start again? the list was so nice when those who didnt
really care were on vacation and even since then people haven't been
complaining or battling each other
no matter what you think of the list, THE most annoying thing is when
people start this debate, i will say no more on that

i should say something positive...
I've been listening to Hefner all day, and most of yesterday, and the
day before, and the day before that (when i got it)thats definitely good
news
reminds me of so many of my favorite artists
most notably Lullaby For The working Class (mostly the choruses with the
perty harmonies and passionate vocals, and very especially The
Librarian), and Silver Jews, general goofy feel to it, but you guys
already know all that shtuff i imagine
