Sinister: paperboat

hello, i'm jo and i'm a lengthy poster.  *HELLO, JO*
ok this is what i want to know, what is the deal with paper boat? is that
the cheesiest song i have ever heard or what??  it sounds like a game show
theme.  that's not necessarily the worst thing, but doesnt' stevie sing some
"bollox"(clever crap) about "going  out to have some fun"?  Did he write
that song?  i was under the impression before i heard the song that it was
anohter lord anthony lovely unrecorded song, but i was  disappointed last
night when i finally finished hearing my NY2 side of the tape.  and whoever
said the wrong girl is going to be on their next album, BLEAAAAH let us pray
otherwise!!!  i know it's mean.  never let it be said i was unfair, cos i
LOVE seymour stein, but the wrong girl is just sad and boring, except for a
brief tingle of rawkin-out  groove in the chorus, that only lasts till the
boring verses come on again. they could  re-write the  song with keeping the
chorus and putting totally new lyrics in and changing the melody, then it
would be better, its' just my opinion, but i'm the  one  who thinks is it
wicked and seymour stein fit in seamlessly with the entire TWBTAS texture.
stevie shoudl put out his own record for his  wrong girl.
on the subject of  stuart m's cheekbones, i realized that stuart david has
an extremely vague resemblance to david letterman, albeit a younger sort of
squished  version of him.  he's hard to draw by the way.

I'm not well versed on the subject of john hughes movies, in fact i despise
that genre with all the hate i can muster, which is a lot, but the idea of
the b&s version just made me all excited.  wee chris could be the goofy one
who is always wearing glasses and a funny hat, and dancing around. you know
what i'm talking about, never mind, i never have watched those movies but i
KNOW there is always a goofy one in them. and the isobel-girl rolls her eyes
whenever he comes round, but only in a good natured way, cos she knows he's
nice at heart.  stuart would make a cute girl i think, i''d look forward to
that.  poor things, to wake up flat as a board.  and they'd go brassiere
shopping together and wacky hijinx would necessarily ensue.  i know none of
you want to hear about this i just wanted to bitch about paper boat cos i
was highly let down.
