i didnt mean that at all. Im just saying that recently all of the records
I've bought have been non-american, and I really liked them. But of course,
Beck, the Beasties, Pavement, = all great! Also, didnt you notice that 2 out
of the 4 records I listed as my current favorites were american? Money Mark?
He was the ball-boy for the LA Lakers as a kid! (and if thats not American,
i dont know what is.) And, REM, of course. Yes there's going to be crap put
out in every country, but it just seems like the crap is a whole lot more
popular and the good stuff is not as popular as it seems to be in England.

and also, the tape tree sounds like a great idea. i've done them before for
other bands, and they worked out great. And even after its all done, the
tree can be posted online somewhere with emails, and it provides a good way
for non-tree people to get a hold of the tape, too. Sign me up!!!

bye for now
