Sinister: Hi!

Dear List-Lollipops,
 
Ive been on the list for a while now, listening to your lovely thoughts 
and I've only just plucked up the courage to write.  Some of you are so 
clever and funny and I'm a little mouse.  Let me introduce myself, my 
name is Tami, and I'm a student, I'm learning to be a teacher but it's 
so disappointing, because I wanted to teach children finger painting.  I 
love finger painting and all the bright colours and swirly patterns you 
can make, but I have to go to a horrid school and practice teaching on 
these nasty boys and girls and I'm so shy and some of the children make 
fun of my ribbons and my hello kitty hairslides. They call it hello 
pussy, and that's so rude and horrid and sometimes I cry and the 
children laugh even more.

Anyway, I love Belle and Sebastian lots and lots and my favouritest, 
bestest song of all is "Fox in the snow".  Foxes are my favourite 
animal, they're so cuddly and cute, and I love the snow and making 
little snow boys and girls with big happy smiles.  My best friend is my 
teddy I called him Sebastian.
 
Anyway, I'm writing because I've got a list crush.  That lovely, lovely 
Stan.  I want him to be my special platonic friend.  I had a boyfriend 
once, I thought he was special becos he had an Another Sunny Day t-shirt 
and I wanted him to make me tapes becos he knew so much about music and 
he said he'd got all the Sarah records and had a stripy t-shirt and a 
bowl haircut but he liked Manda Rin more and wasn't interested in me, 
and I was too shy to tell him so I used to write him poems.  I knowStan 
won't be interested in me, cos he's sounds so dreamy but I hope we can 
be penpals. Some of the boys on the list are a bit frightning I hate the 
way that if a boy sleeps with lots of girls he gets called a stud and if 
a girl does it she's a slut, it's so UNFAIR.  Ooooh, I'm getting cross 
now.  But I know Stan isn't like that, he's like stewart murdoch who has 
the loveliest voice and I just know he's a really nice person and I 
think we could be really good friends because I know he wouldlike me as 
a person and not look at my chest all the time and make me nervous.  I'd 
like to be friends with Isobel too, I could go to her house and I bet 
she's got loads of nice flowery dresses.  I went on the chat thingie 
once and you'll never guess who was there STUART DAVID!!!!!!!  He was a 
bit horrid though, he asked me about my pants, then he called me an 
indie 
c..., well it's a horrid word and I don't want to write itand I ran away 
though I got a sort of tickly feeling in my tummy when he said it.  I 
think it was someone pretending to be him cos Stuart David could never 
say such horrible things.  I went back the next day and he wasn't there.

Oh I'm sorry this is really long and you probably didn't read it anyway, 
but I really like you all and I hope someoen will write to me, 
especially Stan.
