Well congratulations to that man then, and particular bonus points for
namiung the original artists rather than the better known (in the UK at
least) cover version by the Dave Clark Five. For your prize you get to
write "Dear diary" in each of your next 3 posts.


As for T-shirts, you're obviously not putting them to the right use. Sure
it's nice when someone compliments you on your taste (although that
happens far more frequently with my South Park T-shirt). But I wore my
white B&S cartoon T-shirt 3 times last term, and they were the same 3
times all term that I got to play a bit of tonsil-tennis by the end of the
evening.

I've since tried wearing it far more often, but it hasn't had the same
effect. Maybe everyone I know has seen it before now so they look at me
instead.


I sympathise with whoever it was (sorry, can't remember) who was dreading
Valentine's Day. Mainly because I have still never received a single card.

Then again, it's my birthday today (nicely shoehorned into the
conversation) and my brother hasn't even sent me a card. I'm off to give
him a ring now...
