Sinister: ear confection recordings website

Hello again,

Ear Confection Recordings is now 3 days old and to celebrate this its
(primitive) website is now up and running at:

www.send.demon.co.uk/index.htm

At the moment there are no bands and no songs, but hey you can't have
everything. Thanks for the offers of help I got. I doubt if you expected
me to pounce on them like I did. Ho hum. And I like the idea suggested
of it being a more communal thing so if anyone is interested there is a
rant on the site about it. I guess some nice tunes would probably come
in pretty handy too (the address for demos is on the site too).


To other things. Yes the Tigermilk launch on Monday was a strange
affair. The music was an eclectic mix and the dancing in a Belle and
Sebastian-esque manner competitions were really quite bizarre. Maybe it
was an alcohol consumption delusion thing but I also swear I saw Mark C
shaking his thang to Britney Spears, or maybe it was just a beautiful
dream. I also found Marcus's travel story very entertaining and made my
run in with foriegn exchange students practicing methods of heat torture
on my night bus seem like a trifling affair but I shall elaborate. They
were running round the bus slamming all the windows shut whilst shouting
"cold please" in the peak of our fine English summer. I thought they'll
get a snotty cold soon enough if they stay around in England long
enough. They were probably just showing off in a "you call this summer
our fridges are set to this temperature at home" type way. I'm sure one
of the blokes had mittens on as well which I thought was a bit much, but
I guess he could have just have had really hairy hands.

Ho hum. I got in at 5 am Tuesday morning knew I wouldn't make work, so
have consequently had the last two days off work "sick". I think it's
always more convincing if you're off two days. What fun. Listening to my
Tigermilking CD which I was kindly allowed to blag on Monday. I'd never
heard it before. Wow.

Oh my, I've ranted again haven't I? I've also see my photos been added
to the rogues gallery on the photo page. I'd like to apologise for
exposing a naked shoulder, but I did have a sparkly boob tube on at the
time which unfornately is out of shot.
