hmph, well, the midwestern part of the US is lovely, though Detroit has some
unpleasant things about it.  my friend and i stayed in a hotel with no
clocks.  and his bed was missing a leg.  it was really strange.  we called
the front desk to ask why no clocks were in any room and the lady replied
'we don't want you to know what time it is.'

unlucky for her, i have a wristwatch.

i hope you all didn't miss me as i took off in my toyota celica, intrepidly
getting lost in suburban detroit and almost running out of gas on three
separate occasions.  hopefully i shall give a more fleeting and lovely post
when my brain is together.  but to all those who helped me cope with isobel
crush, thanks.  though a soul did inform me that she is rather rude as a
person, and that her whole 'cute and cuddly' image is a facade.  say it
ain't so!  anyone on the list had tea with bel?  yes yes well, do tell.

lots of rhymes.  ouch.

my glasses flew out of the car window today!  i'm blind.  someone help!

i realize i don't have bad luck after all.  luck never existed in the first
place.
