Sinister: The perfect love

Hey up Sinisterines

All this talk of a 'perfect love' (or should that be 'the perfect love') set
me thinking. I used to subscribe to the perfect love theory but then I
realised that I don't even know myself thoroughly yet, new facets of my
personality reveal themselves and force me to re-evaluate who I am.
Therefore, someone who I consider to be the 'perfect match' for today's
Andrew may not be perfect for tomorrow's Andrew. Perfection is relative,
it's not a constant.

The upshot of this line of discourse is this, accept the 'best-fit'
scenario. Like someone, love someone but prepared to be disappointed when
you wake up one morning and realise you don't want to be with them anymore.
Also prepare yourself for the morning they reach the same conclusion about
you. You may 'click' with someone for a while and then go off them. Enjoy
the ride while it lasts, don't mourn the future which never happens. Then
look for someone else to click with. Or be content clicking with yourself.

I'm sorry, I don't know what that last sentence meant either. 

By the way, adorning the front cover of this month's 'Men's Fitness'
magazine is Keith Richards. No finer example of a healthy body than that.
