i dont know about the other 1000, but the reason i havent written anything
recently is that i am too ashamed to show my face because the new deadhippy
pages arent up yet like i had promised. can i get it on record now that this
is because my brother is a MUPPET. i have writ them, honest, im just waiting
on him to put them up. i mean, theyre
already obselete.
actually theres a lot of stuff ive been meaning to ask yous about in the
last few weeks...
like did you hear the other night when john peel played that old galactic
symposium record, the woefully inept cover of YMCA? at the bit where the
saxaphone was meant to come in, all there was was a pathetically faint
squalling, then a voice in the background saying "ah, shit.."
i only mention this to raise the notion that yer man murdochs saxaphone
'performance' at bowlie may have been intentional, as an obscure reference
to a crap record by a band youve never heard of. i lie awake at nights
considering this possibility.
