Re: GLASGOW MEET

Well, being a virgin I was slightly apprehensive about joining in, having
read in countless magazines how the first time is not going to be the most
earth shattering.  I'd experienced a little foreplay at Bowlie, after
bumping into Sinisterines, but that didn't count as the full blown thing
(nice though).  Nevertheless, I was reassured by listees' accounts of
previous encounters, how there was little to be scared of, how you would be
warmly received and how it didn't matter if you didn't know where to put it
(the B+S badge, fools).  Any blood on the sheets was merely an
inconvenience (wrong list, Sarah).  And they were right.....it was lovely.  

It was great to finally put a face to Mummy Honey's name, and to meet up
with Linda (sorry for banging on about jobs, or lack of), and the very
gorgeous Matt Neimark.  Chris Leonard, I'll see you in the Research Club,
and David......well, I'll look out for you at lost property.  

As for Owen (the Narrow Wizard), Ailsa and Alasdair "Sarah, she was easy"
Cook....well I don't know about you, but the Struan incident put a bit of a
downer on things.  Why did he have to keep following us....one photo, we
said, just one, and then you have to go away and leave us in peace.  And
did he, did he buffalo.  He was back time after time after time.   Go away,
we screamed, you're not invited.  So what does he do....follows us up to
the Art School, dragging Sarah, Richard (I asked him if he wanted to
compare beards, he said no) and Isobel, as well as Aidan Arab Strap, Snow
Patrol and David Kitchen.  I ask you.  So I leave, and who follows???  Yep
you guessed it....Struan and Isobel.  Bloody pests.

And I managed to resist the kebab shop.

Can we do it again soon?
