Sinister: Stuart in your eyes

What a weird Saturday I had (and I feel I have to share it with all of
you, sensitive souls)!

After taking breakfast to bed to my significant other for first time, and
myself being a female and himself a male, I wondered if that will mean
some perilous turning point with Edipic echoes in our relation.I felt
extremely lazy the rest of the day and the only productive action I did
apart from that first one, it was to buy my dad some Maxwell and Kennedy's
extremely posh 'chocolate-as-a-drink' for his birthday after doubting if
some Petula Clark's compilation including 26 hits would be more suitable.
But he probably has already some PC's collection as he has all the
possible 60's British Female singers ones,so I chose the chocolate
instead, which is a safe bet with Dad.

I also doubted to buy 'My legendary girlfriend'or/and'Ralph's party'. I
feel like reading something light and easy to feel identified with. Has
anyone some recommendation about these two?

To end my day, which was incredingbly short,as I went to bed about
10.30,we watched 'Stars in your eyes'megafinal. Much more enjoyable than
Eurovision, at least while the impersonated personae were recognizable to
my Spanish eyes. Could someone explain to me who is Anne Murray, for
instance?Celine Dion, from Kent, was surely forced to choose this
performance because of her nose. But the spanner becoming Chris de Burgh
was our favourite: did someone see his 'natural' hair in his everyday
images working with a vacuum system in a lab or sort of? He was the
genuine spanner-physicist and a huge current of sympathy flooded my heart
after seeing that.Would anyone tell me the winner? I was too busy falling
asleep to watch the results, but I know my housemate voted for Chris.

I read someone went to 'Stars...' casting, wishing to be that night
Crash Test Dummies singer, who is totally unknown to the audience of the
programme, though I don't know if they allowed him to carry out his
longlife dream. Anyone up for Struan? You could even wear silver
trousers, that is the more appealing about it.Or perhaps any day we will
hear
'And tonite, Isobel Campbell is going to be France Gall'.Then, be ready
for
pastel-shaded night dresses and 'sorry because my French is bad' in a
captivating child-like tone at the end of the song.

I would still vote for Chris the Spanner.

Love

A.
