i feel like the list slut (oh, wait, isn't that stu
g.?), what with being referred to in so many posts
lately.  well, not as many as some of you, but... ah,
shut up, marie...

yes, i emailed nick privately to tell him that he was
correct in guessing that my "lalalalala"'s were from
photo jenny.  i neglected to tell him what his prize
would be, as i have yet to decide on one, but it will
be appropriately smutty.  oh, dear.  okay, guess where
THESE came from:  la da da da da da da (okay, this
isn't really fair....)

si, 'twas i that used braid lyrics as a subject
heading, and also went on and on (and on and on) about
rainer maria, and.......

here is a piece of advice, kids:  
unless you already own them, you All ought to go out
and pick up Braid's "Frame and Canvas," Rainer Maria's
"Past Worn Searching" (or NewYork1955, or their
self-titled, or LookNowLookAgain), and, for kicks,
anything by Joan of Arc.  also, Piebald has a song
called "holden caufield," which is very nice and,
clearly, extensively references this list's favourite
author.

Blue Veins Update:  after poking me repeatedly and
stealing my blood, and testing it, the doctors tell me
i am anemic, so i must take iron vitamins now, and my
mum (who Is a nurse) said i ought to drink some red
wine every night...  how can i argue with that???
