Sinister: health and safety

Today is my last day in my office until September, term finishes and i'm
no longer required here. We had the health and safety around today
though. If major changes aren't made i may never come back to this lovely
orange room in a basement of Russel Square. See there just aren't any
fire exits.

But I do have some major important news about the future though. Someone
told me that there will be a major gathering again of like minded people
in the near future. And that again these people will meet in in some
venue near Highbury fields. But more on that later.

I can't wait for the picnic at the begining of July. Is it some kind of
Primrose Hill fest or something? A two day extravaganza? I'll be quite
content on just the Sunday, July 4th as its my birthday!! I'll be 20!

I saw REM on Tuesday. A very pleasant experience by all accounts it was.
I managed to get into the special bit at the front of Earls Court where
you have to have a wristband, and you can actually see the band.
Stereolab where the support, and they were mighty fine. They played a
couple of new songs. One strangely titled, "This might be a single one
day" to which many of my fellow members of the audience (99% being the
unitiated) replied along the lines of, "If they ever get signed" to which
the reply over heard more then once was, "They're gonna have to learn
english if there ever gonna make it."

Last night I wrote A Manifesto of Affection. See I'm going through a kind
of relationship crisis, a kind of hangover from a past relationships. The
ex just threatened to call the cops on me, because a friend of mine
insulted her last August. Anyone who wants to be in a relationship with
me will have to agree with the Manifesto I've decided. I don't know maybe
this is a bit far fetched but i've been burnt quite severely in the past,
chip pan accidents and the sort.

While I was writting last night I came up with this phrase,

"When was the last time you had no money,
When was the last time you saw your dad dressed like mummy."

It just seemed to Morrisey for me to have thought it up. I must have
nicked it from somewhere.

Anyway I have now returned my copy of Tigermilk to it's rightful owner.
So I am just gonna have to wait to get my own copy before i can satisfy
my needs.

I'm now of to the bar if anyone wants to join me

Sam
