Sinister: sleater hurt my head kinney

hello, all.

i really think its funny that so many people know about sleater kinney...being a minneapolis girl, they have been hurting my ears for the last several years...i dunno what the big deal is about them...i just want to ask you guys if you hear what i hear: when the lead singer girl sings, do you ever think for a minute, even a slight minute, that its really jello biafra?  because i do.  all on that...

i just think that angry women singing about being angry is becomming extremely trite and boring.  i guess i got my share of it at sixteen with babes in toyland...and pj harvey's first album 'dry'...still classics, if you ask me.  but for the sake of nostalgia...what is the appeal anymore? i really want to know...

but i do really appreciate the rondells. because they just rock... 

i hope i don't sound like a stuck up snob.  its just that i have to hear sleater kinney at work all the time, and that voice...i dunno. the music ain't half bad, i just wish that voice didn't do that....
