Honey's not wrong about the Courier thing. It can be a terribly
fierce font and repeated exposure has even been known to cause piles.
However, do not despair of non-proportionality altogether. If your
email package lets you change fonts, then I recommend you download
Andale Mono (formerly known as monotype.com) from Microsoft
(http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts). This way even the most
dreadful rubbish looks beautiful. Why, only last week I was looking
at some particularly noxious neo-nazi propaganda yet found myself
filled with an enormous sense of inner peace. All because of Andale
Mono.

Enough of this Chris Leonard eulogising. I was there and he was
rubbish.

My cat's called Mittens.
