Warrander John, I'm sorry to have been the bearer of bad tidings, but
you're right about Dusty Springfield being a smashing person, at least
according to Gerry Marsden of Gerry and the Pacemakers. He was
interviewed on the radio yesterday, saying that Dusty was "a lovely
lady, a lovely lady", which he followed up by proving that every cloud
has a silver lining - "Now she's in Heaven singing duets with John
Lennon", he said. Having it off, more like.
Speaking of clapped out Liverpudlian comedians, are the folks at
Jeepster after Bobby Chariot's job? All that whining self-pity,
they'll be moaning on about sleeping in their Jags and taking pills
for their nerves soon. What happened to feeling very strongly that we
shouldn't be wallowing in past history?
Mrs. Murdoch, I enjoyed your Bible story very much. Do the local
children still come and see you when they scrape their knee? What
about if they have a moral dilemna?
Yes there was a Belle and Sebastian cartoon, and a balck and white
television series, and a series of books. It's all to be found in the
Ark of the Covenant, formerly known as the archives. Well worth a
visit. The "other" list hasn't got one.
