yes, this is my first post, no i am not a 'new fan' i am a good while
pre-'gold', and sat silently smiling through the post coital smoke in
the nurture room.

Just thought I'd tell you all about somethng rather nifty and dinky i
saw on saturday. It was in the Royal College of Art in Kensington, just
next to Mr Alberts large marquee.
Poised amoung the symphony of the students exhibits was a white
telescope. When peering in the eye piece, the teeny words of 'Open your
eyes, open your mind' could be read. I thought they had somehow been
inserted into the lens, and it was only upon further inspection the
theory was toppled.
For the telescope was picking up a message from the outside, the real
world. Pointed directly at a tree in Hyde Park, it was reading an
inverted text stuck on the bark, positioned in a way that many people
would pass the back of the tree, but never hear it's voice. How many of
us are guilty of that? A great use of space.
It of course was better out of black type, but taut I'd share it

Annie Haps,I skit.
