Yes they were very good indeed, as has been mentioned before. B&S types
in attendance were Stuart (sadly the red hair thing has been proved to
be true, and for a shy retiring type, standing on CD racks with dyed
burgundy hair is hardly the way to preserve anonymity - OK I never
actually saw him but I was down the front, but Calumn says so so it must
be true), Chris (who appears to have been wearing the same jumper for
about four years now), Stevie and Mick/Nick/Chick. Oh, and obviously
Stuart David. Big hello to everyone who was in King Tuts with us
afterwards where we very scarily ran into Calumn Shearer who we were
supposed to be meeting before the Looper show, but we hadn't told him
where we were meeting then we didn't meet him in Missing, but a
fortuitous last minute change of drinking venue led us to the elusive Mr
Shearer sitting in King Tuts on his own hoping we would turn up there...

Anyway a very good time was had by all (well by me anyway, due to the
large amount of red wine consumed in practice for the all-in drinking
championship of the world which is Bowlie) and that's all I wanted to
say really. But everyone seems to have not seen anyone off Sinister, so
I'm with Mark on the idea that we need some way to identify each other -
I spent half an hour trying to pluck up the courage to approach three
people in a pub without sounding like a twat if they weren't the people
who we were supposed to be meeting, I mean, you try going up to a
stranger in a pub and saying "are you the person I am supposed to be
meeting" without sounding like a blind date set-up or something...I'm
with the idea of badges anyway, but I suppose I should have told Mark
that personally, well I will, but it seemed a natural progression to
mention it given that it was relevant to all the Glasgow Sinisterlings
who missed each other yesterday. We'll all be better organised for the
Gentle Waves gig, I promise!!

Erm, can't think of anything else to say, except that I thought the song
about Columbo and the GameBoy was fantastic.
