Sinister: Life, why, girrrlllls, and scotland freezes over regularly - okay?

I'm really sorry if I turned the list into a mass of weeping folk last
week, commenting on how crappy and bitchy life can be ('how bleak life is,
man') but sometimes, a boy has gotta do what he shouldn't. But hey - the
topic has changed onto books. It's true - kerouak was a drug fueled hippy
who wrote books for people who had why posters on thier walls. My sister
has a friend who does theology as one of her electives at uni, and this
person was sitting an exam, with a question which people were writing
screeds about, giving their theories on life. The question read "why?". The
person wrote "Why not - shit happens, so get over it", and got full marks.
A good answer, I think.

I'm still bleedin' inside cause I haven't said anything to he girl. Still,
we're going to a celtic match in about 2 weeks (for americans, and others,
celtic are a 'soccer' club, or as mr tommy burns might say
"celticfootballclub"). If we score lots of goals, that would equate to lots
of hugging opertunities, pehaps a passionate embrace, or two.
unless she were to hit me and say - "get lost". and I would feel really bad
about life and everything.

What the hell would you know? you don't have to freeze your crystalballs on
the 2 mile walk to school (this is no joke - 2 miles wth frozen balls -
read it and weep). Still, I am able to polish (you might say 'buff') them
up to a lovely crystal sparkle afterwards.  And anyway, I wouldn't know
about herion, drugs are evil, and so are obese americans (the american bit
was a joke, the drugs bit wasn't)
Scotland, glasgow in particular, is an bad place. It is full of 'bams',
'neds'. Hey, the film is coming soon - in KAPPAVISION tm.
Fran Healy from travis said on a teletext page that with us scots, if life
gets us down, we write a song about it. He is also meant to be a chum of
Stu M - in fact, b&s were refereed to by the teletext page as "trendy
glasgow band belle & sebastian". Oh my god - does this mean that we are
all, as fans, trendies, and in with the "cool set". hope not.
