Sinister: how belle and sebastian made my day...

hmmm... i'm feeling very good right now!
the day started out really rotten when my botanics teacher didn't show up,
which usually wouldn't sound too bad (on the contrary) but since i had to
get up at 6.45 and we'll have to catch up while we're already on a very
tight schedule, i wasn't really smiling this morning. so i went home in a
very grumpy mood only to find...a package waiting for me with everything in
it to make my day! 

so i've been listening to '3...6...9...seconds of light' the whole
afternoon wearing my beautiful new t-shirt and putting my badges on every
bag i could find. 
and honestly, who could keep on moaning under such circumstances?  
i've even decided that my laboratory exam (for i have one tomorrow)is going
to go perfectly well and i plan to keep on smiling even if it doesn't.

andrew tracey said that he couldn't read a whole book anymore, i've got the
same problem with films right now (what is wrong with us "scientific
people", huh?). it sounds stupid, but even if i like it, after 20 minutes i
just have to go do something else. maybe i'll train myself by watching my
old cartoons again. 
this is gonna sound weird but i learnt english by watching tex avery
cartoons when i was little. i couldn't read yet so i couldn't read the
subtitles. i'm serious about this! my parents told me that suddenly they
noticed i understood everything that was said. so never let anyone tell you
cartoons are bad for you!
and andrew, whatever you do, don't read several books at once. i'm reading
four right now and the least i can say is it gets a bit confusing...
sometimes it's quite funny though, when you start mixing things up. 

maybe i should continue revising for tomorrow...
