Sinister: Glasgow Gentle Waves gig picnic

Some of the more observant of you British ones might have noticed that it is officially summer now (the sun is even shining in Paisley).

So in order to celebrate this, and in a pathetic attempt to relive my childhood April Saturdays, I am pleased to announce the start of the plan for the first Glasgow picnic of the year on the day of the Gentle Waves gig (April 10) venue and time to be decided depending on convenience to others, but I thought about 1 o'clock in Kelvingrove park or a nearby pub first of all while we decide about the weather and its suitability for picnicking.

so from now on can all discussions go there or directly to me so as not to annoy the people on the list who aren't going to this.  Basically the discussions are to think of a suitable pub...

Finally, a little plea for people I have lost touch with...if any of you are speaking to Calumn Shearer, can you tell him my email has changed (I don't think his is working at the moment and I have no other way of getting in touch with him). And do any of you who were at the Maryhill gigs last year know an Irish medical student by the name of Iain?  He got me my ticket for the second night and I sat with him and some other people, who I believe are on Sinister (I wasn't on Sinister then, so I don't know this for certain). I have lost his phone no and I don't know if he is on the list or not, but he was at the Glasgow picnic last year and I haven't seen him since I moved house.  Can someone get him to email me please, or to turn up at the picnic if he isn't at home for Easter.  Or give me his phone number.
