Sinister: I've got that wide awake, give and take, five o'clock in the morning feeling...

Dear Flowers,

Oh how I weep...

Here in the darling southeastern United States it is 6am.  I have been up
since around ten am this morning and I am not happy.  It seems that a
wretched bout of insomnia has crept and taken hold of me like a shadowed
ghoul.  The sun is beginning to rise, and the sky is a sort of lavender
palette right now.  My point, well, is that I am very sleepy and I can't go
to sleep for the life of me, and I have no idea why.

One of the reasons that I was unable to sleep (not why I cannot sleep as of
now) was that my roommate officially left earlier this morning, after being
kicked out of school a few days ago.  Oh, people who cannot hold their
liquor, do take care of yourselves, if you are indeed out there.  My
roommate was a slob.  So instead of taking back all of his things to
friendly California he left me with a considerable mess, and as opportune as
my bad luck is, a friend is coming in later today, and I only have a few
hours to make this place look habitable.

I'm afraid there isn't a lot of B&S content in this post (as if there really
is any, ever!).  Well, I did talk to a very old friend today, who goes to
Oxford (in Georgia that is) who has a dear friend who loves B&S.  She said
she had listened to them a few times, and thought they were quite nice.  I
was about to go on about the new album, single, and Tigermilk, but I figured
she didn't want to hear me gush so.

Thanks to the many Sinisterees who have gotten in touch with me after my
auction of screen names last week.  I have met some adorable shy folk who
absolutely take my breath away...

I believe that does it.  Please, anyone, send me wishes of sleep, oh sweet
repose.  It's now light outside and I'm beginning to panic.  Perhaps I will
never sleep again.

PS Anyone else think Blur's Tender (the 'oh baby, oh why?' bit) sounds WAY
too much like Jarvis' Dogs Are Everywhere?  The little guitar bits are very
very similar.
