like genevieve, i, too, am distressed by this display of violence  
on stuart's part.  did he Repeatedly smash the guitar?  or was it  
just one swift movement?  so on the one hand, i'm thinking, oh gosh  
gentle little belle&sebby!  and on the other hand, it's sort of  
satisfying to think about it.  maybe stuart was just like, you know  
when do you get the chance to do stuff like this -- f*ck it!

i'll be home this summer (i actually live in dutchess county but  
i'll be commuting to the city to work) -- y'all ought to have a
