Sinister: Yet another first post

I'm another newbie fresh out of the nursery, and one that likes to write in
a very disjointed and random manner at that. Let's hope this goes well :-)

One day, my sister had her radio on and this really good song came on. I
hadn't a clue what it was or who it was by, so I ran the only lyric I
remembered ("You'll have a boy tonight") through AltaVista and was given a
list of sites about a band with the strangest name I had ever heard. I
picked up IYFS not long after, and I've been listening ever since . . .
although strangely enough, I haven't managed to get around to ordering LLPJ
itself yet :-)

Hmmm . . . I think I've used up my smilie allowance already, and I've only
written two paragraphs.

I wasn't able to get to the Bowlie weekend, but I did go to the Dublin gig.
I found the gig strangely unsatisfying, and I don't know exactly why yet.
Maybe I heard so many great things that I was expecting too much, maybe the
band were tired after the weekend, or maybe it was the fact that I'd had my
hair cut the day before and it still had that just-cut arsiness about it
(meaning I hid in the shadows and kept to myself the whole time).

On the subject of the Dublin gig, I had never heard Snow Patrol before
then, and I reckoned they were tops (even if they made my ears ring).

And I paid £16 for one of those T-Shirts, although I was really only after
some badges.

*tries to think of a satisfactory way of ending this message*

*fails*
