you've all got nick dastoor to thank for that subject header. i'm afraid
i've had too much sugar and caffeine today to be held responsible for what
appears in your mailboxes.

i get my photos back from the delgados show tomorrow, big thanks to all that
mailed me to let me know details of the show. they're supernice kids (and
quite good looking too, especially the tall singer boy whose name escapes
me), i talked to them for about an hour after the show about how they liked
toronto (a lot), jetlag and alcohol. for a show review, go to

what my magic 8 ball said.

ohohoh! the surprise of the week came when i was listening to the local
"alternative" (read: shit rock with obnoxious djs) radio station, cfny "the
edge" 102.1. the new music preview came on, and who did they play? looper! i
think the song may have had something to do with squirrels...but even though
the dj named all the people in the band, the album and the fact that he
"really dug them," he neglected to mention that stuart david was also in
belle and sebastian, winners of a brit award in 1999. so i phoned the
comment line and, er, commented. i don't know why, but b+s are a billion
times better than looper and won a *big award*, for goodness sakes, and
should have at least been name dropped once.

so that's it for me, jeopardy's on now.
