just noticed that lance's video for 'dirty dream #2'
is now available on sonicnet - go to

and it's right there at the top...hmm, 
guess i'll have to watch that at lunch..
any chance of getting a vhs copy, lance?

also: a friend recently gave me a promo copy of a video 
for 'dog on wheels' from a few years ago -- it's black and white,
starring who i believe is a be-hatted, be-scarved mr. murdoch 
wandering  the city streets searching for a dog on wheels, 
stopping to spray-paint 'v-twin' and  'le pastie de la bourgeoisie' 
on the occasional blank wall, talking animatedly to schoolgirls, 
and...going parachuting? well, in a manner of speaking. the 
slip of paper with the video claimed that it had been made for 
$200 and was what had 'got belle and sebastian noticed.' 
anyone know any details? were i to be proficient in producing
realvideo i'd post it somewhere for all of you to see...
