According to the Dr Pepper Museum (www.drpeppermuseum.com), this
fruity-flavored soft drink was invited in 1885 at a soda fountain in
Waco, Texas, and is the oldest of the major brand soft drinks in
America. Pepsi has nothing to do with it. And if you live in the UK,
your Dr Pepper tastes nothing like our good ol' American version (that's
not from the dp site, that's from experience).
