speaking of this, today i was looking at the spin online website... so i
decided to type "belle and sebastian" in the search field.... one of the
returned articles was a write-up on the bowlie weekender.  at the end of the
article, after the bit about the b&s show, the writer said that "Whether B&S
will continue to hold their fans is another matter: they were mean enough to
instruct security men to grab fans' cameras and rip the film out. Which, for
some, was a very sour ending to an otherwise entertainingly childish
weekend. "    i just found it odd that b&s should be called "mean"....
"media-shy" maybe, but mean is something entirely different.
