Sinister: Sosages and Mash

C'mon everybody c c c'mon everybody.

What ever happened to those gurus of style and suave the Jive Bunnies?

Anyway, I'm glad to see the SOSAGES (Save our Sinister Against General
Everyday Sinisterines) debate has died down and proved to have no real
substance. A bit like those Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages. Sorry
musn't talk ill of a dead persons non-meat food products.

I too am not happy with the "All Tomorrows Parties" weekender title. I
mean it's all a bit of a mouthful really isn't it? Judging by the smut
and filth I have to read here it should probably be called the Dirty
Weekender. Then we can all do our dirty dancing to the fab sounds of the
Gentle Waves and Stereolab. Sounds like the time of my life to me. I'll
be Patrick Swayze if you all have a very strong sense of imagination.

Yes books are cool and they're so much easier to read on trains than the
people sitting opposites newsapaper, they tend to get annoyed when you
ask them to turn the page too. Isn't there a list residing somewhere of
recommended reading from Sinister people? If so can someone tell me how
to attain it. I'll add my hearty recommendation of Kundera's stuff and I
also presently love William Goldings "Free Fall", Michael Hornburgs
"Bongwater" and anything by Tim Sandlin. Has anyone got Sandlin's "The
Pyms:Unauthorized tales of Jackson Hole"? As you can only get it mail
order in the States which is rather irritating. I'll send anyone all my
Jive bunny masterpieces in exchange (or even something less worthy) if
someone can get it for me. Oh well I digress... Isn't the Luna album
bloody fantastic? I just can't get the CD out of my stereo, but enough
of my incapabilities.

Te ra,

Martin
