the eurotrash european song contest special the other day (a revised
repeat it said, which i think means they deleted kenickie's great
version of 'save your kisses for me') had dubstar and sacha distel doing
'the poopee song' and had a bit of the history behind it too.

oh, those good old days when the sarah label photos were views along the
river and harbour from Temple Meads to the suspension bridge (sarahs
31-40). i remember them well...

also:
the british museum had it's own tube station once upon a time. there are
a lot more disused stations out there. neil gaiman's 'neverwhere' is
based on them and used a couple (down street and the then-unused
mornington crescent, i believe) during the filming of the tv series.

flatmate upstairs is shouting at the tv as if manchester united can hear
him. doesn't he know they are playing away? the fool.

'she's gotta have it', the channel 4 clothes makeover type show, was
tonight concerned with all capri pants great and small.

delgados live on peel tonight, in about 6 minutes actually...
