i tend to agree with her... the "you know a girl who's tax-free on her back"
line continues with "while you are working for the joy of giving".  in the
song, jane obviously seems frustrated with her life and wants to change
it.... so mabye she becomes a prostitute...? i don't know, but it seems
plausible enough... and then perhaps after having made her choice, she's a
little apprahensive to let people know what she's been doing ("you are in
two minds/ tossing a coin to decide whether you should tell your mum...")
but then, the little story in the liner notes completely contradicts
that.... all the same though.......
