Sinister: so, where were YOU?, or the Toronto Picnic

dear friends..

yes,today was the afternoon of the First Innagural Sinister/Belle and
Sebastian Picnic in Toronto. hopefully you didn't show up and not find
us because admittedly no one exactly knew where we were going. somehow 9
of us managed to find each other, by some benches and grass by a
playground swarming with hanging inch worms and screamy kids. we ate a
variety of crackers (animal and ritz), carrot sticks and drank shirley
temples. oh, and peanuts in their shells too! there was a halfhearted
attempt at busking with a guitar, some flute like instruments and bells
and then we all proceeded to the high park petting zoo to lament the
horrible living conditions of buffalo and blue peafowl.
anyway.. we hope that we didn't miss you if you did show up.. anyway,
don't fret, we'll have another picnic sometime in the summer okay?
