Hi peeps,
Straight to business:

HEFNER
I like 'em. I think they're charming and witty and poetic in an earthy sort 
of way. However I cannot listen to them for more than half an hour at a 
stretch, as then they do start to get on my tits. Good in small doses.

MY FAVOURITE B&S MOMENT
Well, I have two. One is the bit in 'Dylan in the Movies' where the line 
goes '...when the music stops', and the music stops, and then it starts 
again, and this all happens in a very charming and nice way.
The other is the first two lines of 'The Boy Done Wrong Again', perhaps the 
most touching fragment of music I have ever heard.

OTHER MUSINGS
I saw a chap with a 3..6..9 badge on his bag on the train last night. He was 
reading through a pile of leaflets on female sexual health. What can this 
mean?
I went to see suede last thursday in dublin with my suede-obsessed 
girlfriend, and contrary to my expectations it was actually a cracking show. 
Brett's not as much of a twat as I thought he was, and thankfully that 
odious fop Codling was absent. However, an hour of my girlfriend glaring 
lustfully at Richard Oakes was a bit of a trial.
Finally, the Make-Up are playing in the Menagerie in Belfast on the night of 
my 23rd birthday, so I'm all happy!!
