Yes, I too attended the Socialism 2000 thingymajig.  It was interesting, if
not a bit scary as we walked past people having indepth conversations about
'issues', and 'fighting the cause' etc etc.  And it smelt really bad too.  

Alasdair pointed out that Stuart was going a bit grey, although I think it
was just the light, or possibly the effects of Alasdair consuming vast
quantities of methylated spirits over the previous two days.  Anyways, if
he is going grey, it would help to explain the (unfortunate) overuse of red
hair dye earlier this year.   In true Belle and Sebastian style, the
workshop did not start until about 45 minutes after it should have, and
Stuart's, ahem, speech was short, but not short enough for him, me thinks,
who did not seem to know what to say.  He looked as if he had just been
taken from the Clairol Loving Care aisle in Boots and plonked on the stage.
 We still think he's great though, don't we, Heather???  The whole fiasco
was most enjoyable though, despite the non-appearance of Chris Geddes, who
was probably in the pub drowning his sorrows over the football.

Oh and Heather embarrassed me and Alasdair by cheering and yelling and
clapping and stamping her feet every time Stuart said something[1].  This
following the blatant attempt to get Mick Cooke's attention by grabbing my
tits on Friday evening at the Bedsit[2].  Ttutt, you just can not take some
people anywhere!

Anyways, I had a simply sinistertastic weekend.  Cheers to all involved.  
Oh yeh, while I'm here.....I'll be moving to London in 2 weeks.  If anyone
can help me out with accommodation, either a room, or advice on how to go
about getting somewhere, can they mail me privately.  I'll love you to
bits, I really will.
