Sinister: (No Subject)

It was going to be a good day today. I knew because there was a piece of hardcandy left in my pocket from the last time I wore these bluejeans. That's always nice.

All day I played with the crisp plastic wrapper that surrounded the candy, twirling it round and round in my pocket. Whatever bad things that might happen today would be resolved this evening when I savored the sweetness between the roof of my mouth and my tongue.

But it seems that a grasshopper landed on me the last time I wore these jeans. He must've clinched to my jeans until I hung them up for the night, at which time he crawled in my pocket. You can imagine my surprise this evening when my hardcandy saviour turned out to be what was left of his head.
