yeah, you know, this reminds me of the part in that "high fidelity" book
when the lead boy goes over with his girlfriend to her friends' house. they
all end up having a lovely time, talking and what have you, and then at the
end of the night his girlfriend shows him their record collection. they do
indeed have a very un-indie un-cool collection, but *gasp*, he realizes that
music is not the only determining factor in What is Cool and What is Not. 

although, someone who loves belle and sebastian is probably inherently
cooler than average. ho ho.

anyway, i remember the thread about this book being turned into a movie, and
with someone from the list actually working on the movie, and with belle and
sebastian being on the soundtrack to this aforementioned movie. so yes. what
song is it going to be anyway?
