and i shouted with joy.  (inwardly of course)

i cuntin'  looove Roddy, (and not just for the fleeting period where he 
*may* have been considered cool, either).
so much so that i travelled overseas to see him last year.
this honour has, so far, been reserved only for the likes of Belle and 
Sebastian and, erm, well, Ocean Colour Scene but i have *almost* completely 
erased that from my memory at this stage...
so last december, my good self and a chum travelled to london town and 
*immersed* ourselves in The Magical World Of Rod Stewart, where bad taste 
is good taste, tartan scarves are THE last word in fashion and ALL the 
women look like a curious hybrid of Joe Elliot and Pat Butcher from 
Eastenders.
bliss.....

i was watching "stylissimo" on mtv yesterday.
they played a looper song as background music on one of the features.
i always knew stuey david was the new black.
before we know it, he'll be on the cover of italian "vogue", revealing his 
left nipple, no doubt.
(i'm sorry if i've left any of you with a mental picture that you'd rather 
not have....)
