Sinister: garp a gut

funny thing, 
i just started reading vonnegut's 'cat's cradle' last night, before reading the posting about 'touching humor,' i think it was.  i am happy to know i am not the only garp fan.  (not that there is anything wrong with that...)
but i was happy to read other people's responses to it.  i just think its great how john irving really deals with every subject in such a thorough way.  did i spell that right?
