Sinister: she sleeps around

hello folks

i went and saw the wonderful david berman (he of silver jews fame) give a 
poetry reading tonight in athens from his new book (called "actual air" if 
you don't have it. get it) and it was really terrific.

"and i wonder if she loves me only as a favor to god"

that line is gonna stick with me for a couple of days. that was in one of his 
new poems.

anyway, he told a joke....well, a couple, but here's the funny one

the joke is set in 1974 at the white house with richard nixon taking a shit. 
so he's sitting there grabbing both sides of the bowl and straining when 
finally something pops out. he goes about the usual routine of wiping up and 
all, but when he looks at the toilet paper he notices that his shit has 
glitter all over it. "what the fuck?" he thinks....so he wipes again and 
looks at it again and still he's got glitter covered shit. so he's sitting 
there wondering what the hell is going on...then he remembers...

david bowie had eaten his asshole the night before.

and there was another one.

celine dion walks into a bar and the bartender says....

 "hey, celine. why the long face?"
