Sinister: speeding motorcyle, won't you save me....

i was having a discussion (or whatever it is called when you email someone
all the time and they mail back...) with a member of this erstwhile good
parish and we got talking about Mr Daniel Johnston, and how NO-ONE has ever
seemed to have heard of him. But i'm sure, positive, heck, betting my
earthly possessions on the fact that someone here has indeed heard the great
man.

Do not let me down.

It was a shame to hear that that twee band we all seem to like could only
muster one song between them for their first ever trip outside on to the big
world of the television. it would have been nice to see them at least
attempt some GBH on that Moyles chap. Oh, of course, it would have been nice
to see it, instead of having to set my video for the worst time ever.
Midnight on new years day. or is that new years eve. either way, i foresee
that pesky 2k bug having laid waste to most of my electrical appliances by
then, thus making me approach apocalypse* having never seen them on the box.

*it will obviously be late....

Can i say here that if you don't stop all voting for me on list crush i may
withdraw myself. (ooo-errr missus i'm sure). from 190th to 5th in a few
weeks stinks of embarrassment and match fixing. And seeing as i stand to
make nothing, it is not a good thing. except to perhaps massage my ego which
was given a rather firm kick by the most expletive ridden words ever to come
from my sisters mouth. they were, down a distant phone line from Sunderland
"not listening to that twee shite again are you, no wonder everyone laughs
at you"

i always thought she was such a sweet girl. and i still don't know who is
laughing at me, but i'll be sure to find out. and when i do. well, thats a
bridge to be crossed much later on...
