Sinister: Silence = To be forgotten

HI!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it PTO-syndrom contagious?I just read David Moore's last message and
some unstoppable impulse forced me to send something, likely incoherent,to
the list. But the acronyms TO (too often) are not appliable to me,so far,
as no thread had the power to turn on me since at least a week ago.In
fact,I know how volatile and obnoxiously superficial is this Sinister
crowd and regarded this lacking of correspondence on my side as potential
source of forgetfulness of my magnificent self.I was not in Las Vegas as
Tom Jones during this time, but our cases are not that distant!

My best friend was in Las Vegas all that time and sent the tackiest
postcard ever.It should be in a Kitsch museum. And she was listening to B&S
in her walkman in a casino surrounded by obese Nebraska farmers in
tracksuits living up to their golden retirement age. It's difficult to top
as bizarre-place-to-listen-to-'THEM'.I am aware of some discussion on B&S
lyrics and world on the roof of a Palestinian hut in a refugee camp last
Summer, orchestrated by some acquaintance of Dame Archel Playforth, the
greatest poetry-filer of them all.

Faustian content: it would be daft to attach my age (in digits) to any
conversation I get involved. But quite often such a question is adressed
to me without any particular reason, I guess because people cannot work
out comments I drop in my lines. It makes me feel great to answer back very
Bette-Davisesquely in certain circumstances : Oh, I am too grown-up for
that, sweetie. With the correspondent shock on who believed me a naive
first-year.Well, some first years (eg that Sarah Clarke lass)are not that
naive and they hang around with lascivious early thirties gentlemen...

Looper last night: THe techno paganism is not the next revolution,at
least to my eyes.Cool visuals, warm darkness and Stuart David seems a
marriable and kind lecturer in electronic engineering, let's say.The only
difference with raw reality is he is not marriable any longer as heis
already married.OUr man in Seoul listened to Nalda and got the book,so I
suppose it could be borrowed to keep up with the reviews.

Narrowing markets are in: Who is going to supply for wide-banded
tastes?Like mine : molecular physics, 60's photography, nouvelle vague,
Roxy Music in 1972 and Bach (suites, specially)and anything David Gedge is
involved in,and any non-minimalist clothes , (suits,specially),and baking
cakes, and red wine, and Coke, and jelly babies if they are from
Woolworths.And Bakunin.

Wide band devices are more difficult to tune.Put your hand up to ask Dr
Stu David!
