Sinister: rhetoric and bonfires

those of you who read the observer today will hopefully have noticed the 
article on bonfire celebrations in lewes.  although officially 'outsiders' 
aren't meant to come, i think it would be nice to have a sinister meet-up for 
anyone who's near enough, or interested enough.  it really is fantastic, and 
we can go drinking first in some the fine local taverns.  mail me 
PRIVATELY!!!!

i actually wrote something today (other than shopping lists and doodling 
messages to sinister, that is).  for ages i was going to write a play with 
belle and sebastian content, but i don't think it would have been a good 
idea.  i just don't think the general public are ready, you know?  and i 
would certainly be breaching confidentiality if i brought sinister into it.  
shame though.  anyway, no doubt what i *am* writing will turn out to be shit, 
composed as it in the less than objective aftermath of being dumped.  not 
that it's anything to do with that, but how good can cathartic writing really 
be?

it's my sister's 18th tomorrow, and with it comes the realisation that she 
has done more as a minor than i have so far as an adult, probably.  what is 
the world coming to?  perhaps i would have been more rebellious if i hadn't 
discovered b&s...

well i think that's all i can muster up to excuse the parochialism of the 
first paragraph.  do mail me if you want to come.  even if you live in ohio.  
it's the thought that counts.
