Sinister: list crush

a few ppl have mailed me asking for the list crush to be cleansed a little, so
i've scrubbed it clean and returned all of the votes to zero.

what this means is that there is no clear leader anymore, all of the hopes of
cheaters (whats the point?) have been dashed.

so, for a fleeting moment, it's fair :)

and yes, it's always been hosted there! anyhow, a few small behind the scenes
changes have been made, so now it's a little harder to vote more than once. and i
may be tempted to make it even more strict, but again, what's the point?

mass votes don't mean popularity, it means you're being stalked, and that's not
nice at all, alternatively, it means you've mentioned smut on the list or in the
newsgroup, again, this isn't exactly a genuine crush  - it's lust.

one or two votes tend to be absolutely genuine, so if that's all you get this time
round then feel very flattered, you're probably doing a lot better than whoever
leads.

and if you seldom post and get voted, then congratulations, you're more special
than the rest of us put together, few people can inspire instant magnetism and you
would've managed it ;)

PS: still trying to decide whether i should re-publish the URL so that ppl can see
roughly (but not exactly) who's voted. let me know what you think and i'll take it
on board. oh, and the ppl who had the old URL, it no longer works :(

PPS: paul, could you please let this through to sinister even though i'm not on
the list, i'm sure they'll want to know :)
